How you can reuse GrowthBrief stories, and how we use the sources we draw on.

Sharing our stories
You are welcome to:
- Share links to any GrowthBrief story.
- Quote a short passage, with credit to GrowthBrief and a link to the story.
Please ask first before republishing a full story, translating it, or using it in a newsletter, product, or dataset. Write to desk@growthbrief.example with "Licensing" in the subject.
Automated use
Search engines and AI search and answer services may read our stories and cite them with a link, as our robots.txt allows; today it does not block AI crawlers. Bulk copying or scraping the site for republication requires our written permission.
Our sources
Our stories are drawn from public sources: government press releases published for public use, and the RSS feeds of news publishers and regulators. We rewrite them in our own words, credit the publisher by name, and link to the original in every story. From a feed we use only the title and summary its publisher shares.
If you publish something we drew on and have a question about how we used it, or would like us to remove a story, write to desk@growthbrief.example with "Source or rights" in the subject, and we will respond promptly.
Photos
Story photos come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License, credited to the photographer with a link. They are not ours to license: to reuse one, get it from Unsplash. A photographer with a question about how we use their photo can write to desk@growthbrief.example with "Source or rights" in the subject.
Our name and logo
The GrowthBrief name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse a product, service, or publication without our permission.
