The GrowthBrief Desk
Stories appear under the byline GrowthBrief Desk. The desk is the small team that collects, edits, and publishes every story. A shared byline reflects how the work is done: each story passes through the same process, and the desk as a whole stands behind it.
Roles
- Editor. Reviews drafts against their original sources, edits them for accuracy and clarity, checks each story's section and photo, and decides what to publish, by hand or with Publish with AI (see our AI Policy). The editor can also correct or unpublish a story at any time.
- Senior editor. Writes and maintains the brief that guides the "Why it matters" note on each story, and sets the standards in our Editorial Standards.
Accountability
The editor who publishes a story is responsible for it. If something we published is wrong, tell us at desk@growthbrief.example and we will follow our Corrections policy.
Independence
No advertiser, source, or company we cover has a say in what we publish or how we describe it. See Ownership & Funding and Ethics.
